The location of this centre is immersed with nature. Panchghagh Waterfall is 10 km away, Rabi Waterfall is 10 km, Perwaghagh is 35 km, Dasam Waterfall is 30 km, and the renowned Dewri Temple is 40 km, along with many more such scenic destinations nearby. We also take students for countryside visits during the winter and rainy seasons. The centre has both power supply options, i.e. electric and solar power.

The LEADS Resource Centre is surrounded by the scenic beauty of nature, making it an ideal destination for learning, reflection, and experiential training for all our programmes and interventions. The centre serves as a live learning laboratory where participants gain hands-on exposure to sustainable development models developed by LEADS and other community-led innovations. It offers exposure to a wide range of demonstrations, including plantation with intercropping, the Annapurna Model of homestead land cultivation, a museum for the revival of indigenous culture, clean-energy based enterprises such as a flour mill and stitching centre, a banana orchard, organic farming practices, a model Anganwadi, and a School Development Plan demonstration site.

The LEADS Resource Centre is a shared learning and training facility that serves a wide range of stakeholders, including government departments, civil society organizations (CSOs), teachers' unions, women farmers, youth groups, Women Self-Help Groups (WSHGs), and producer groups. These organizations utilize the centre for training programmes, workshops, meetings, and exposure visits by contributing a nominal administrative fee, which supports the maintenance and upkeep of the centre.

The resource centre regularly conducts skill development and capacity-building programmes to strengthen livelihoods. Training is offered across a wide range of vocational and sustainable livelihood practices, including Kantha stitch, garment stitching, LED bulb manufacturing, driving, briquette production, lac cultivation, high-value crop cultivation, and scientific plantation and horticulture management. The centre also develops model women and male farmers who serve as local resource persons, demonstrating improved agricultural and livelihood practices. In addition, LEADS organizes regular workshops, trainings, and capacity-building programmes to enhance the skills and capacity of rural communities and improve their quality of life.
