Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Background
The Companies Act, 2013 made CSR a statutory responsibility for eligible companies. LEADS partners with PSUs and corporate organisations to translate CSR investments into meaningful outcomes for communities across Jharkhand, Bihar, and Odisha.
Our CSR Approach
LEADS follows a need-based, community-led, and outcome-focused approach to CSR. We assess local needs, design relevant interventions, and work closely with communities and government systems. Our focus is on effective implementation, measurable outcomes, sustainability, and community ownership.

Engagement with PSUs
LEADS works with PSUs and government departments to align CSR initiatives with national and state priorities. We promote convergence with government schemes and strengthen existing local systems.
Engagement with Corporates
LEADS designs CSR projects based on the thematic priorities, geography, budget, and expected outcomes of corporate partners. Projects are supported through regular monitoring, reporting, and impact documentation in line with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
