LEADS has been contributing to the realisation of MDGs (2008-2015) and SDGs (2015-2030). We believe that global development cannot be achieved unless India progresses in line with these goals. Since the heart of India lies in its villages, LEADS works in more than 1,800 villages across Jharkhand, Bihar, and Odisha. Our work is aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, and our team of nearly 300 professionals and volunteers is committed to advancing inclusive and sustainable development. We focus our resources on supporting the most marginalized communities in our intervention areas. Our programmes primarily contribute to SDG1-No Poverty, 2-Zero Hunger, 3-Good Health and Well Being, 4-Quality Education,5-Gender Equality,6-Vlean Water and Sanitation,7-Affordable and Clean Energy, 8-Decent Work and Economic Growth 10-Reduced Inequality, 13-Climate Action, 15-Life on Land and 17-Partnerships for development. We work with children, women, youth, farmers, Scheduled Tribes, and Scheduled Castes. Along with our own resources, we leverage government schemes and collaborate with various stakeholders to maximize impact and promote sustainable development.
Building awareness on relevant information, critical knowledge to work for sustainable development.
- Strengthen community capacitiesby enhancing knowledge and improving access to financial, material, and institutional resources through convergence with government schemes, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate the effective utilization of community resourcesto achieve sustainable outcomes and bring about visible, long-term improvements in the quality of life.
- Provide continuous handholding supportto community-based institutions until they become self-reliant and capable of sustaining development outcomes independently, thereby contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
