Tools & Channels of Communication Between LEADS and Community
LEADS facilitates and promotes various platforms which can be used as a familiar thread to bring people together to advocate and support each other in the fight to overcome their common issues. As an organisation, we need to develop a sense of belonging, and that sense of belonging is what connects us to the many relationships we develop.
LEADS through its various interventions, aims for Community wellbeing which can be seen as the combination of social, economic, environmental, cultural, and political conditions identified by individuals and their communities as essential for them to flourish and fulfill their potential.
Our Development Models
The foundation of LEADS is rooted in its guiding philosophy of ““UNFOLDING HUMAN POTENTIAL FOR SUSTAINABILITY”. This ideology remains at the core of every intervention, with a focus on empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and creating sustainable pathways for development. LEADS follows a pilot-to-scale approach, initiating innovative interventions with limited resources, rigorously testing and refining them through field experience, and transforming successful initiatives into replicable development models. Community mobilisation, capacity building, and human development are integral components of every model, ensuring ownership, continuity, and long-term impact. Through this approach, LEADS has developed and implemented more than 25 community-driven development models across diverse sectors. These models represent practical solutions emerging from grassroots experiences and are designed for wider adoption by development organisations, donors, CSR institutions, government departments, civil society organisations, networks, and other stakeholders. Driven by the belief that sustainable development requires collective action, LEADS actively collaborates with multiple stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, replication, and scaling of successful practices. Some of our key models are presented here, and LEADS also extends technical support to development organisations and government institutions for their adaptation, replication, and wider scaling-up.
